French Burlap Chair

Hey y'all I picked up this chair yesterday from the upholster, I think it turned out great. The burlap is kind of a cream aged look. I got this chair at a yardsale years ago ........who knew. It is actually very comfortable and my husband had been using it in his office.   ........until..... I just love the way it turned out, next stop, TEXAS! cheers, lauri

July Gift Mart in Atlanta

I had so much fun this week going to the gift mart downtown.  My first stop is always High Design where the creative juices are always flowing, and this year did not disappoint.  This girl caught my eye soon as I entered.  She was so creative.  I wanted all her stuff.  Jamie Dietrich, www.jdvintage.net. 

Love her purses and cool belts with the vintage flowers.......

Peacock Park Design, Gina Galvin, always is a show stopper, its a must see.  Bless her heart she was worn out and ready for a break, it is amazing why all these shows are so close together all over the country.

Cody Foster, another one of my favs, I love his Santos and religious stuff, he always has the best vintage, I went alittle overboard in here.......

Oh and the whole reason I went was for Christmas, this little guy caught my eye.  He makes me happy!!!

Lakewood 400 July..............

Hey y'all, I am all set up at Lakewood 400 this weekend, I have got lots of great stuff.  So come on out and see me.

I am lovin' this fabulous old medicine cabinet I found, the mirror is all black and crusty, the best.  It seems like I have an over load of rust this time.  Just the way I like it!!!!!!!!!Cheers, lauri

Document Fabric Chair

Hey y'all I decided to cover this chair in the french writing fabric.    I love it, and it looks great in my living room where it will stay until it goes to Texas in a few months.         

And check out these darling paint by numbers I got a Lakewood last month, many treasures to be found there.  I love deer, but these are headed to Texas too.  I might have to have a bigger trailer for all the stuff that's going to Texas............ Cheers, lauri

My Cat Daddy...........

Oh my gosh y'all, I was just about to get in the pool this morning, thinking everything was fine in Texas and my sweet friend Shelley texted me and said that my Cat Daddy was in the hospital, Oh No, I am sorry, I have no information but, I am loadin' the truck and heading for Texas as we speak.   This is just devastating, I love him, he is the best and being head kitten and all, I must go.  Please say a little prayer for him and I will let you know more later......lauri                                                          

You guys take me way to seriously..........I am not really on my way to Texas. I have just heard from Jen and CD is out of surgery and doing well.                                                                                           

White and Lakewood 400

Coin purse necklaces.......

I am loving these little leather coin purse necklaces I have been making........I have been on a hunt to try and find some really old ones to use. These turned out great, my only problem is letting go of them........but if you like them too, check out my etsy................cheers, lauri
