Lucky, lucky me..........

Butter pats.........Nothing else can make me smile like the sighting of a butter pat, even one but, this time in the form of TWO, coming to me in the mail from my NEW BFF, Deb of Talkin' Trash.....How sweet is that?????? Said she just couldn't bare the thought of me only having 198......Little did she know I had already twisted TOT's arm to give me the two she had for sell at Lakewood, but that's another story........Look lulu all the butter pats all stacked up, well it's not ALL of them some are still on the wall and in the bathroom and oh you know they're all over the house, but here is most of them........Aren't they just the cutest. I just want to look at them all day.......It doesn't take a lot for me to get excited about a butter pat.
See here I am all excited, and I was just thinking if everyone I knew sent just one butter pat.........Oh what am I thinking, sorry I was getting a little out of hand. But, just imaging I could be the Butter Pat Queen........Hale the Queen of butter pats.........this is what I aspire to be,there I go again, excuse me please, I'm going back to the butter pats now..........

One Thang That Should've Stayed in TEXAS

Remember when we were in Texas and Lauri allowed that Pixie to chaperone Baby and the scalawag Billy Bob? (See blog Oct 4th)  I should've known better.  Junk is not the only thing that came back to Georgia.  My sweet little Baby is expecting and it looks like there's gonna be a shotgun wedding. W.T.F.?!

I know he comes from Bar W but who ARE his people?  I need a P.I.  TRASH--you seem to have the skinny on everyone in the Lone Star State...I need you to get on this...

Baby is fine.  The doctor said she's in good shape and just needs to continue her public appearances until they become too cumbersome.  I hope she'll make it to Warrenton in the Spring.  We just don't know.  The due date is early July.  Perhaps it will be a 4th of July Baby!  Honestly.  I. Am. Not. Ready. To. Be. A. G-Mother--I can't even say or spell it!  Lauri is ecstatic.  The upside is we are now going to be bonded forever with this new addition.

I am now going to retreat to the Leopard Lounge with several strong cocktails.  I may never leave. And knit the world's smallest baby hat.  Do you think it'll be just a head or full body?  Criminy.

News Flash!!!!!!!

Ladies, I am here to tell you there are hearts breaking all over town.......Yes, its true, Mr. Smokin' Hot is officially Off The Market!!!!!!! Can you believe it??????? Yes, he gave his girlfriend he has dated off and on since the 7th grade a gorgeoussssssss ring and next October he will be jumping over the broom............. And all I can think is, is that enough time, I mean chair covers have to be made and monogrammed, flowers imported from parts unknown, and I haven't even thought about the decorations. Oh Lord, what fun....... I am thinking a Cinderella Carriage, with lots of bling and glitter.....Oh, and yes the thought of bathing everything in white just makes me swoon.........You know my favorite movie is Steel Magnolias, just think of that but, in WHITE........Now Unfortunately, my son is thinking camouflage, deer heads on the walls, and having Jeff Foxworthy preform the ceremony........... We have a long way to go........................... Lauri

words are not needed for such a design doyenne...AND she is so sweet! She admitted to us that she actually READS our blog...who knew? Thank you Ms. Hill! You are one in a million! We wish we could come to your next 'House Party'. Thankfully, someone we know & love in Texas will take pictures and allow us to drool long distance. I am still kicking Lauri for not insisting that we buy that divine cubby!!!!! I guess we have to wait for Marburger in '09!

This next guy, Beau Riechert had the coolest stuff, we were in there, it seemed like hours, it was like a small version of Uncommon Objects. Check out his displays........

Love him because he uses the crackheads in his displays, instant BFF, this was an embalming table, with little picture tubes all over it.......Love it.

This beautiful booth is Janet Romine's Sister, Mo of Rubbish, she has gorgeous things, love the little dresses as a curtain. Her furniture is to die for.......and lots of brown transfer ware......Love her.....

Our next stop was The Shop Antiques, who doesn't love the Circus, and they have everything from the Circus......Just look at it......A clowns' dream and we are two of the biggest clowns you have ever seen.......Love the Magic....... Here's Mandie Murphree she does this business with her Dad, Garland, and she is just a cutie pie. Loved meeting you Mandie and love all your stuff.......The show must go on........
