Altered Art or Junk?????

necklaces new 003 Today I got some neat old watch faces and findings in the mail that I got off ebay......so I felt the need to make some more necklaces.  This is so addictive, I told Lulu she had created a monster......the possibilities are endless......There is just no end to what you can put on one.  I guess I really got inspired when I actually sold some.  I got a small rusty knob off a water spout and drawer pull that's coming up next.......Just call me the mad professor..........So take a look and let me know what you think.  Cheers, Lauri

Oh MY Girlfriend! Absolutely the most awesomeness I've seen!! I bought up a TON of findings, parts, vintage jewelry...you name it...when Sharon and I opened the store...as I was going to start a line of jewelry. To have the ideas in your head and the parts sitting next to the table staring at you is one thing...but to just DO IT...Girl...you've got it down perfect!!! Maybe I'll just send ya all my stuff and you can play!! haha What a great talent you are! I'm so lucky to have met you here!
Smiles always, Lorie

Lauri, you create such awesome works of art. Each one is so different and unique and I receive more compliments each time I wear mine. Funny that you posted this because I was going to do a post on you tonight to show the ones I still have. Look for it later in the evening!!

Lauri,

I didn't realize until today that the neclace that my daughter picked out in Round Top in Theresa of Garden Antiques booth was one of your creations. Amanda wore it for the first time to Canton last weekend and loved it. Theresa told us it made by Lauri Evans but I didn't put two and two together until today. Thanks for sharing your creative spirit with us.

Smiles,

Carol Casey

Hey,
Love the necklaces, do you sell them at the Lakewood 400 show? If you do I will have to come up from south side of Atlanta and buy some. I haven't been to that show in ages, so i may just go up there anyway.
Thanks Sharon
