Not even the grim reaper was at Lakewood 400 this weekend. This is me, dressed for the occasion. I wanted this odd fellows garb that our friend James was selling, isn't it to die for???? Eat your heart out Sharon, I know you are jonesing for it too. I couldn't sell enough to get the funds to buy it. Darn!!!!! We have tried for the last year to try to breath some life into this show and keep it going. But, I think we are calling it quits, we just are going to try to find something else. Just making rent ain't gittin' it.

Total bummer. I hate that it wasn't a profitable show for you. But, from what I know, you girls can party with or without money in your pockets. Betcha had a good time, anyway. Love your pics! ~Mindy
Well ya'll both looked pretty if that counts any!! Can't wait to hang out with my chippy friends!
I think you should just load up a big rental truck and drive to Warrenton, TX like the rest of us! My booth space that I rented in a mall sucks too! I'm seriously considering renting property and opening my own store. Yikes!! Hope Mom's improving. Much love
I'm with Sue. Just start buying and saving it all to do the spring show here in Texas. I know you can't in the fall...somebody thinks a wedding takes precedence, imagine that!!! We would have such a good time, get dirty feet together and sell to each other. Doesn't that sound wonderful and just what you're looking for?
BTW, Laurie, you are looking fabulous. You are going to make one beautiful mother of the groom. Lulu's so full of herself I don't dare tell her how pretty she is or she might come to Texas and try and steal my man!!! I sure do miss my honey bakeds and can't wait to see y'all.

Well it's their loss! You'll find an awesome show! You know we have awesome ones out here... I know you know that, I'm just sayin'!
Hugs,
Sheila
All I want to know is when are the posters of the two of you dorks (oh, did I say that, I meant CHIPPYS of course) going to be available? I want mine life size, to put up in my workroom to remind me where all the fun is happening... Sorry to hear that your Lakewood show was the pitzzz... Maybe it's time for a little trip to Oregon??? ;-)
Y'all come....
xoxo

It's so painful but a relief to realize you're DONE with a show. I gave up on mine one year ago in order to concentrate on my booth at a shop.
Devote your energy to what WORKS! Y'all have killer stuff, so do the occasional sales and Warrenton. I'll come hit your booth hard next spring!
LADIES...thanks for feeling our pain. You KNOW we will set up in Texas...just have to keep the faith...find the money and hire a stunt driver, chef, masseuese, security guard (for Lauri), and BARTENDER. Once those expenses are covered we'll be able to come on out.....ox lulu
Sorry the folks at Lakewood 400 can't recognize fabulosity when they see it. Maybe y'all should do pop-up shows...inside the perimeter where i can shop! hugs, mary kay
